Ryzom, a game I've never heard about, recently released its source code for the world to download and edit, which means that you can play with it and easily make your own MMO if you know what you're doing (Which means you can't create anything.)

It's pretty interesting news, and definitely something I'm going to check out.

  1. cool blog post bro

  2. Looks nice, get holland on this shit

  3. I agree, you and querjin could make a promising MMO.

  4. Why don't you try giving some actual information instead of putting up a one sentence paraphrase and a giant empty generalization at the end there.

  5. That link at the end doesn't even work. GG kid.

  6. Edited so that the link works, and it's short for a reason: It's simple. Open-Source is self explanatory, if you don't know what it means, you probably aren't going to be using this any time soon, so that rules you out, if you do know what it means, there's no reason for me to explain it, and if you're interested, you're going to want the information from the source, not from me. +
